Site Purchasing Manager (m/f)
You are the charismatic coach of our Local Buyer’s team!
 
The challenge: Reporting directly to the Regional Purchasing Coordinator, you will develop and implement business procurement strategies for our sites in Zürich (Dübendorf and Kemptthal). You will ensure security and supply within specific quality and time constraints. You will manage and coach a team of 6 Local Buyers, ensuring excellent communication with the Regional Coordinator. You will provide support to the Global Purchasing Team on strategic sourcing projects and data management. You will develop and implement purchasing plans for assigned products, consistent with global and regional procurement strategies. You will carry out local negotiation with suppliers and ensure adequate contract cover within their portfolio. You will manage supplier service level agreements and local cost centres. Furthermore, you will create and implement saving opportunities. Yourself: You are an internationally oriented self-starter and a commercially minded personality with several years of purchasing experience with a good understanding of purchasing processes and systems. Previous experience in the chemical or fragrance and flavour industry would be more than an asset. Your sound communication and negotiating skills enable you to build relationships at various levels of organisations as well as in different cultures. With a high degree of enthusiasm you will coach and motivate your team to achieve outstanding performances. You have a corresponding educational background with a degree in purchasing and/or supply management. You are fluent in English and German.
